The strap is joined at the midpoint with a historically accurate “wartime splice” - a commonly used technique of joining shorter straps with a tapered skive in order to maximize yield of the labor intensive bridle hides. Fitted with a solid brass roller buckle per original specs. Available in both a russet and a medium brown (pictured) leather.
