LEATHER

Question: We divide our leather options into two categories: Patina and Performance.
Patina Leathers are traditionally tanned cowhides that develop patina and character over time. They are labor intensive to produce but have a richness and depth that only vegetable-tanned leathers can have.
Performance Leathers are the best option for a hospitality setting where attributes like color matching and scratch and water resistance are most important. These are the leathers that will look the same today as they do 5 years down the line. They do not patina in the conventional sense.
LOGO EMBOSSING
Blind Deboss: A heated stamping die presses the logo into the leather. Blind refers the lack of foil. Excellent choice for tricky to foil performance leathers or when a subtle aesthetic is preferred. Obviously, it does not wear way, flake off, or leave a scorched surface like laser engraving.
Hot Foil: Using the same process as a blind deboss, except a high temperature transfer foil is used. We have access to over 10,000 foil colors in both high gloss, matte, and paint-like pigment foils.
